Liabilities:
- Develop tools/methodologies to support the structural analysis process;
- Performa calculation and validation steps for components/products under provided load cases;
- Prepare and develop FEM models from CAD geometries;
- Critical post-processing and reporting of analysis’ results to detect errors and apply/propose corrective actions;
- Identify issues and propose/develop improvements to meet established requirements, targets, or to solve problems;
- Provide the manager with any requested information for planning, execution or control of technical activities such as:
– The activities’ plan definition and the reporting and tracking of project tasks’ status,
– Provide work estimates and projections,
– Identify goals and requirements, as well as determine the most appropriate analysis for each case (analytical, numerical, mixed, static, etc.),
– Alert to potential problems, deviations and needs; - Support the test and certification campaigns;
- Contribute towards the creation of project reports and any other relevant certification documentation.
Profile:
- MSc in Aerospace Engineering, Aeronautics, Mechanics or equivalent;
- Proven experience in the structural sizing and/or approval of components/products;
- Previous experience working with Hyperworks, Ansys, MSOffice (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) or similar tools;
- Good programming skills in C++, Python and VBA;
- Good knowledge of materials and production techniques;
- Hand-on experience with CAD software (CATIA, Siemens Nx) is a plus;
- Good interpersonal skills to work within a diverse team, in rigorous and demanding projects, where analytical and critical thinking, as well as problem-solving skills are essential;
- Fluent in English.
