Liabilities:
- Interpret airworthiness requirements and identify acceptable means of compliance;
- Tracking and follow up of all activities required to achieve aircraft certification;
- Advise internal and external personnel on how to best satisfy the means of compliance;
- Manage and articulate the certification process with the authorities;
- Establish certification programs in cooperation with each technical department and CVE;
- Evaluate conformity documents for soundness, level of detail and coherence with the certification program;
- Training and guidance of all organization workers in matters of quality, certification and airworthiness;
- Participate in internal and external audits, as well as contribute to processing and resolution of signaled findings;
- Participate in the management of the Design Organization (DOA);
- Promote the approval of certification documents via signature.
Profile:
- MSc in Aerospace Engineering or equivalent;
- Over 3 years’ experience in a similar function or involvement in the certification process of equipment/aircraft (CS/CFR 23 and/or CS/CFR 25);
- Good knowledge of EASA Part-21;
- Good knowledge of EASA CS/JAR/FAR Part-23/25/27/29, EASA AIR-OPS, EU-OPS and FAA Part-91/121/135;
- Good knowledge of Quality standards ISO 9001/EN 9100 as well as ASTM, MIL and SAE standards;
- Hands-on experience with Requirements Management software (IBM DOORS, 3DS CAMEO or similar);
- Dynamic and proactive, with good interpersonal skills to work within a diverse team, in rigorous and
demanding projects, where critical thinking, as well as planning and problem-solving skills are essential; - Fluent in English (speech and writing).
