Liabilities:
  • Analyze and interpret inputs and requirements to determine critical loads within a flight envelope;
  • Develop tools/methodologies and reports to support the loads calculation process;
  • Develop load plans, load cases and identify necessary tests to achieve the aircraft certification;
  • Support the development of simulation and validation models for the calculated load cases;
  • Execute and interpret multi-physics load case analyses;
  • Prepare reports or other documents to demonstrate the compliance with certification requirements;
  • Validate load models and tools based on test results (bench, ground and flight tests);
  • Create an aircraft loads data base;
  • Provide the manager with any requested information for planning, execution or control of technical activities such as:
  • The activities’ plan definition and the reporting and tracking of project tasks’ status;
  • Provide work estimates and projections;
  • Identify goals and requirements, as well as determine the most appropriate strategy each case;
  • Alert to potential problems, deviations and needs;
  • Contribute towards the creation of project reports and any other relevant certification documentation.
Profile:
  • MSc in Aerospace Engineering, Aeronautics, Mechanics or equivalent;
  • Proven experience in the planning, definition, execution and interpretation of load case analyses;
  • Previous experience working with FEM tools, MSOffice (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) or similar;
  • Good programming skills in C++, Python, Fortran and VBA;
  • Good knowledge of materials and production techniques;
  • Hands-on experience with CAD software (CATIA, Siemens Nx) is a plus;
  • Good interpersonal skills to work within a diverse team, in rigorous and demanding projects, where analytical and critical thinking, as well as problem-solving skills are essential;
  • Fluent in English.
