Liabilities:
- Analyze and interpret inputs and requirements to determine critical loads within a flight envelope;
- Develop tools/methodologies and reports to support the loads calculation process;
- Develop load plans, load cases and identify necessary tests to achieve the aircraft certification;
- Support the development of simulation and validation models for the calculated load cases;
- Execute and interpret multi-physics load case analyses;
- Prepare reports or other documents to demonstrate the compliance with certification requirements;
- Validate load models and tools based on test results (bench, ground and flight tests);
- Create an aircraft loads data base;
- Provide the manager with any requested information for planning, execution or control of technical activities such as:
- The activities’ plan definition and the reporting and tracking of project tasks’ status;
- Provide work estimates and projections;
- Identify goals and requirements, as well as determine the most appropriate strategy each case;
- Alert to potential problems, deviations and needs;
- Contribute towards the creation of project reports and any other relevant certification documentation.
Profile:
- MSc in Aerospace Engineering, Aeronautics, Mechanics or equivalent;
- Proven experience in the planning, definition, execution and interpretation of load case analyses;
- Previous experience working with FEM tools, MSOffice (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) or similar;
- Good programming skills in C++, Python, Fortran and VBA;
- Good knowledge of materials and production techniques;
- Hands-on experience with CAD software (CATIA, Siemens Nx) is a plus;
- Good interpersonal skills to work within a diverse team, in rigorous and demanding projects, where analytical and critical thinking, as well as problem-solving skills are essential;
- Fluent in English.
