Liabilities:
- Collaborate closely with the Aerodynamic and Aircraft performance teams to propose aircraft configuration optimizations to the Project Management Team;
- Cooperate within a team to improve tools and processes and share knowledge/information;
- Develop reliable flight mechanics models, vehicle simulations and tools for handling qualities necessary for the development of a new aircraft;
- Organize and lead all flight dynamic simulation activities required to answer a new aircraft program during the full product life cycle;
- Produce all needed documentation required for certification;
- Provide support during aircraft development phase, including certification phase, and participate in potential optimization campaigns while in service;
- Support any aircraft flight dynamic data requests from marketing, or other company departments;
- Support the flight test campaign required to achieve the aircraft certification.
Profile:
- M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering or similar discipline
Proven experience in Flight Control Systems and Flight Mechanics activities covering the full lifecycle of an aerospace artefact, from conceptual phase to industrial production; - Good interpersonal skills to work as a team, but can also work independently and demonstrate self-reliance and initiative to achieve the goals established;
- Good knowledge of aerodynamic simulations, aircraft mission performance and propulsion systems;
- Good programming skills in C#, C++, VBA, Matlab, Python, FORTRAN and experience using Matlab/Simulink for modelling purposes in a professional work environment;
- Hands-on experience with Requirement Management tools (IBM Doors or similar);
- Fluent in English.
