Liabilities:
- Design for manufacturing of 3D CAD models (composite or metallic materials);
- Evaluate inputs to ensure an adequate selection of materials, treatments and production techniques for each application;
- Adherence to product configuration rules;
- Generate Bill of Materials in support of the production and purchasing/logistics process;
- Reduce overall costs by applying a lean philosophy to processes and choice of design solutions;
- Identify issues and propose/develop improvements to meet established requirements, targets, or to solve problems;
- Ensure the compliance with project requirements and quality processes;
- Provide the manager with any requested information for planning, execution or control of technical activities such as:
– The activities’ plan definition and the reporting and tracking of project tasks’ status,
– Provide work estimates and projections,
– Alert to potential problems, deviations and needs; - Develop CAD models in support of testing and certification activities;
- Contribute towards the creation of project reports and any other relevant certification documentation.
Profile:
- MSc in Aerospace Engineering, Aeronautics, Mechanics or equivalent;
- Proven experience in the development of components/products;
- Previous experience working with CAD software (CATIA, Siemens Nx, Solidworks), MSOffice (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) or similar tools;
- Good knowledge of structural sizing analyses’ techniques and concepts;
- Good knowledge of materials and production techniques;
- Good interpersonal skills to work within a diverse team, in rigorous and demanding projects, where analytical and critical thinking, as well as problem-solving skills are essential;
- Fluent in English.
