We are looking for an experienced and motivated Embedded Systems Engineer to work in several different projects and products from all the business areas (Space, IIOT and Test Systems) among other innovation products development.
Location: Maia, Porto – Portugal
Main Accountabilities:
– Develop and maintain firmware for embedded platforms.
– Test and debug embedded firmware applications.
– Develop and interpret specifications.
– Create and manage documentation.
– Participate in code and design reviews.
– Provide technical assistance to clients.
Requirements & Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree or higher in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline.
– At least 1 year of experience in a professional setting with embedded platforms.
– Solid background with Architecture devices (ARM, PIC, PLCs).
– Good knowledge of interfaces and communication protocols.
– Goof degree of familiarity with logic analyzers, digital oscilloscope etc.
– Good programming skills (C, C++, Python, Ladder) and knowledge of software configuration control (GIT, SVN).
– Experience in real-time operating systems (e.g., RTEMS, FreeRTOS).
– Good communication skills (spoken and writen) in Portuguese and English.
