Liabilities:
- Develop tools/methodologies (analytical, models, etc.) to support the aerodynamic analysis process;
- Perform calculation and validation steps for components/products under provided load cases;
- Prepare and develop representative FE models from CAD geometries to perform CFD analysis;
- Critical post-processing and reporting of analysis’ results to detect errors and apply/propose corrections;
- Identify issues and propose/develop improvements to meet established requirements, targets, or to solve problems;
- Provide the manager with any requested information for planning, execution or control of technical activities such as:
- The activities’ plan definition and the reporting and tracking of project tasks’ status;
- Provide work estimates and projections;
- Identify goals and requirements as well as determine the most appropriate analysis for each case (analytical, numerical, mixed, etc.);
- Alert to potential problems, deviations and needs;
- Support the test and certification campaigns required to achieve aircraft certification;
- Contribute towards the creation of project reports and any other relevant certification documentation.
Profile:
- MSc in Aerospace Engineering, Aeronautics, Mechanics or equivalent;
- Proven experience with aerodynamic calculation tools and processes;
- Previous experience with CFD tools (Ansys Fluent, Altair Acusolve), MSOffice (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) or similar;
- Good programming skills in C++, Python, Fortran and VBA;
- Good knowledge of materials and production techniques;
- Hands-on experience with CAD software (CATIA, Siemens Nx) is a plus;
- Good interpersonal skills to work within a diverse team, in rigorous and demanding projects, where analytical and critical thinking, as well as problem-solving skills are essential;
- Fluent in English.
